About the position We are looking for an industrial electrician for our client Ovako in Smedjebacken. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating industrial environment together with a competent team characterized by good community and collaboration. As an industrial electrician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from urgent repairs to preventive maintenance. The role requires a structured approach using work orders and governing documents. The position is a direct employment with Ovako.

Responsibilities

  • Work with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and control systems.
  • Perform both urgent repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Work according to work orders and governing documents, with a structured approach.
  • Document completed work according to applicable instructions and routines.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient production by supporting and collaborating with your colleagues.

Location: Smedjebacken Scope: Full-time Working hours: Daytime, but shift work may occur

About you We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and industrial maintenance. As a person, you are positive, flexible, and responsible, with a strong safety mindset and the ability to take initiative. You adapt easily to different situations and contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup. To succeed in the role, you need to be long-term oriented and see the value in building your competence over time.

Qualifications

  • At least a high school education in electrical engineering
  • Driving license B
  • Knowledge of Swedish and basic English

Meritorious

  • Experience as an industrial electrician
  • Electrical safety training - Theory and practice
  • Experience with overhead cranes and forklift driving
  • Hot work certificate
